Let’s stick together
I couldn’t help sticking a cactus pun in there. Last week, I saw a friend post an entry for a monthly challenge by Our Garden Collective and I decided to join in on the fun. Heres day two’s prompt: cactus.
For those of you akin to counting - you’ll notice today is April 5 aka day five of the challenge. And this is definitely not a picture of honeysuckle. I’m just going to be honest here and tell you - I truly succ (get it, succulent reference) at sticking to monthly challenges. Why? I could make a ton of excuses and give you my life story about how I have a one year old and I’m trying to manage my small business… but I’m not going to. Because honestly, even if someone was watching my son and if I was working for someone else - some days I just don’t feel like it.
And I guess thats the scary truth. Even as a “creative” I have bad days too. And sometimes I just feel like binge watching the Avengers (which I totally am). So if you want to jump on a challenge, just go for it - who cares what day it is. Remember that the whole point of a challenge is to challenge yourself. And this prompt is challenging me to create new content for you guys!
