Humbled to be online

Kakou Collective Mahalo.jpg

This website has been a long time coming, and let me tell you - its not for the lack of me trying. Creating this website has been such a humbling experience because as much as anyone would love to say - “just use one of those website builder things;” so much more goes into it than just slapping some pictures together and putting it online. SO. Because there are so many things that go into it, I figure perhaps I should share and answer some possible FAQs:

Do my product pictures reflect the quality of my product in real life? I hope so because I chased daylight to get the lighting right. It may not be the most amazing photographs in all the land, but I can proudly say that the color of the wood comes through pretty well in these pictures.

Does this update if I am doing a special event? Yup. It does - I searched for this capability to ensure that if we are sold out, we are most definitely sold out. And if we have stock, we definitely have stock.

Can I blog? You betcha. I wanted to be sure that I could continue to share the full experience so that you know what you are supporting. My goal is to be as transparent as humanly possible (and I say this because sometimes humans make mistakes, and I am most definitely not perfect).

What about the shipping? I hope to give you the best shipping option possible. Living in Hawaiʻi, no one likes to see that tiny asterisk on the bottom that means some awesome deal applies to everyone but you. Not cool.

Will you have sales? Iʻm not going lie to you, I promise to give you the best product possible, and your hard earned dollar goes right back into supporting this business, and my family (and I, in-turn support local as much as possible), but it doesn’t mean Iʻll be able to have sale items every single day.

Should you have any other questions, please feel free to email me at any time. I also understand that all sales are final, but just email me if you have a problem because if it is on us, and if there is something that we can do, we will do our best to provide a quality experience. Mahalo for supporting my passion project, and if you’ve made it this far - thank you for supporting local.
