Pen Test: Zebra Journaling Set
We love our pens and highlighters just as much as the next pen addict, so we were really excited when we saw this journaling set made by one of our favorite brands, Zebra.
This was a perfect time to test our new purchases being that we are starting a new set of collections in our Archer and Olive bujo (kindly suggested by our friends at Kitt and Bunn Supply Co.).
For those of you that don’t know what a pen test page is, it’s a page (or pages) that you dedicate to testing your pens to see how it reacts and how it looks in the particular journal or book you are using. Check out our YouTube video to see our pen test set up. I can’t tell you how many times before I started doing pen test pages when I found myself disappointed with a journal where a pen bled through a page or a color didn’t look how I expected. Avoid future frustration and dedicate a page.
I am a huge fan of this journaling set, not only because of the color range, but also because it includes 7 matching pens and mildliners. It’s a perfect set to either add to your tool belt, or start journaling/planning with.
As expected (but tested and verified), the Archer and Olive dotted notebook didn’t disappoint and neither did this journaling set. The paper is thick and durable and shows colors well. The pens write smoothly, offer variations, and are vibrant.
Overall, I’m excited about these purchases and will definitely share how my collections turn out.
